Moodi Runners Are Cut for Hallways, Landings and Narrow Spaces
The Moodi runner measures 080×300cm, a length designed for hallways and landings where a standard rectangular rug would be the wrong proportion, while keeping the same 30mm fluffy pile as the rest of the collection.
Where a Runner Makes Sense
A hallway is the obvious place for a runner, but the same 080×300cm size also works well along a long kitchen counter, at the foot of a bed, or in a narrow home office, anywhere a room is longer than it is wide.
Built to Handle Foot Traffic
Hallway rugs take more footfall than almost any other rug in the house, so the Moodi runner is made to be durable as well as soft, in polypropylene or a polypropylene and polyester blend, and it is non-shedding despite the depth of the pile.
Cleaning a High-Traffic Runner
Because a runner sits in a high-traffic spot, vacuum it more often than a living-room rug, always on a low-suction, no-beater-bar setting to protect the 30mm pile.
Shake the runner outdoors periodically and fluff the pile by hand to stop it flattening in the areas people walk most. It is easy to clean and compatible with underfloor heating, useful if your hallway has a heated floor running under tile or wood.
If your hallway runs longer than 300cm, two runners laid end to end is the usual approach, rather than sizing up to a rug not designed for that shape.
