What is a Persian-style rug?
Persian-style rugs are traditional floor coverings that translate centuries-old Iranian medallion and border patterns into machine-woven, easy-care versions built for everyday British homes. The original Persian rugs were hand-knotted in weaving centres such as Kashan, Tabriz and Isfahan, each with its own take on the central medallion, the dense floral field and the multi-band border. Our Persian-style range borrows that same structure, so you get the traditional medallion rug look at a fraction of the hand-knotted price, without pretending to be something it isn't.
Where to use a Persian-style rug
