Striped Joli Rugs Bring a Directional Pattern to the Collection's Boldest Colours

Striped is one of five designs in the Joli range, laying repeating linear pattern across colourways like Red, Green/White and Yellow/White, giving the collection's thick, dense pile a more directional look than the checkered or wave designs.

Using Stripe Direction in a Room

A striped rug laid with the lines running away from the doorway can make a room feel longer, while the same rug turned across the space can make it feel wider, so it is worth deciding on orientation before ordering a size.

Built the Same as the Rest of the Range

The striped design uses the same thick, dense polypropylene pile as every Joli rug, soft and comfortable underfoot, with vibrant, fade-resistant colour and a non-shedding weave, and it is pet-friendly for a home with animals.

Cleaning a Striped Rug

Vacuum on a lower-suction setting to protect the pile, and spot-clean any marks promptly, since a stain sits more visibly against a striped pattern than a plain block colour.

Rotate a striped rug occasionally if it is in a high-traffic spot, so the lines fade and wear evenly rather than lightening first at the edge nearest the door. Sizes run from 080×150cm up to 200×290cm.

Because the pattern is directional, a striped Joli rug also tends to read well in longer, narrower rooms where the stripes can run the full length of the space.
