Why You’ll Love It

  • Sustainable natural fibres. 100% jute material offers an eco-friendly, durable and naturally textured foundation for your space. This natural construction brings warmth and authenticity into your interiors while supporting a more conscious choice for home styling.
  • Hand-braided artisan quality. Carefully crafted in India, each rug has unique character and authentic woven detail. The craftsmanship gives it a relaxed, artisanal charm that feels personal and full of character.
  • Substantial 3000 g/m² pile weight. A dense, well-crafted build gives the rug a grounded feel and long-lasting structure. This weight enhances its premium presence and helps it sit beautifully and steadily on the floor.
  • Comfortable 15 mm pile height. A gently raised texture that feels pleasant underfoot while keeping a natural look. It delivers a soft, tactile surface while maintaining the clean, organic aesthetic of jute.
  • Contemporary bordered design in grey. The subtle frame detail defines your space with a clean, modern finish. The soft grey tone adds balance and sophistication, making it easy to coordinate with existing décor.
  • Naturally versatile styling. The earthy jute texture works effortlessly across living rooms, sunrooms, and relaxed spaces. It enhances a variety of interiors with ease, bringing a calm and grounded feel wherever it’s placed.
  • Textural natural appeal. The woven surface adds depth and interest while keeping the overall look calm and understated. It creates visual richness without overpowering your space, making it ideal for relaxed, layered interiors.

Styling Tip: Let the natural tones of this rug shine by pairing it with light wood furniture, soft linen textiles, and neutral colour palettes. It works beautifully in bright, airy rooms where natural light highlights its woven detail. Add a few ceramic accents or greenery to complete a calm, effortlessly balanced look.

Please note: Unlike machine-made products, handcrafted rugs may exhibit slight variations in shape, reflecting their true artisanal quality and authenticity.

We suggest you unfold your rug as soon as possible to allow it to begin settling. You may notice lines or creases in your rug when you first lay it out. These are completely normal and not permanent. Depending on the tension of the fold, it can take a few days or week to completely flatten.

Everyday

Vacuum as normal.

If something spills

Blot it straight away with a clean, dry cloth. Start at the outside edge of the mark and work inwards, so you gather the spill together instead of pushing it wider.

Do not soak the rug. If the backing stays wet for a long time it can change shape.

Being straight with you: these rugs are stain resistant, not stain proof. Deal with a spill in the first few minutes and it lifts. Leave it overnight and it may not.

If anything does go wrong, our team sorts it out. A person, not a form.

Can I return a rug if it is not right?

Yes. You have 30 calendar days from the day your rug is delivered to start a return. Message us with your order number and we will confirm the return address. Return postage outside the UK is the customer's responsibility, and we recommend a tracked service. Please repack the rug in its original packaging, because rugs that reach us damaged cannot be refunded.

Which rug size should I choose?

Measure your furniture first, then the floor. In a living room, 160x230 cm sits well under a 3 seater sofa with the front legs on the rug, and 200x290 cm carries a full seating group in a larger room. Bedrooms usually want 120x170 cm beside the bed or 200x290 cm under a double, while hallways and galley kitchens suit an 80x300 cm runner. For dining rooms, allow about 60 cm of rug past the table on every side so chairs stay on the pile when they are pulled out, and our guide on how to choose the ideal rug for your room works through this room by room.

How do I clean and look after my rug?

Vacuum regularly and blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside of the mark inwards. Avoid soaking the rug, because a backing that stays wet for a long time can change shape. Many of our rugs are stain resistant rather than stain proof, so the sooner you deal with a spill the better the result. Full instructions, including wool and shaggy pile, are in our rug care guide.

What are your rugs made from?

Most of our rugs are woven from heat set polypropylene, which handles daily traffic and holds its colour, and the range also includes wool, viscose and jute pieces. Every product page lists pile material, backing, pile height, pile weight, construction and origin in the specification panel, so you can check the detail before you buy. Rugs tested to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 show that certification in the same panel. Where a rug suits underfloor heating, the product page says so.

Will the rug slide on hard floors?

On wood, tile and laminate a rug can shift, so we recommend a non-slip underlay, which also adds a little cushioning and protects the pile. A dense low pile with a jute backing sits flatter from the start than a deep shaggy pile. Creases from folding are normal and usually settle within a few days to a week once the rug is unrolled. You can add a rug gripper to your order from our rug accessories.
