Why You’ll Love It

  • Naturally soft and durable wool comfort. Made from 100% wool, this rug offers a cozy yet hard-wearing surface that stands up beautifully to everyday use. It feels warm, breathable, and comfortable in every season.
  • Plush depth for everyday luxury. With a 9 mm pile height, it delivers a deep, cushioned feel that’s perfect for relaxing spaces. The generous texture adds both comfort and visual richness to your room.
  • Authentic hand-loomed craftsmanship. Carefully hand-loomed in India, this rug embodies artisanal quality and uniqueness. Each piece reflects skilled workmanship that adds character to your home.
  • Naturally resilient and easy to maintain. Wool fibres are naturally stain-resistant and long-lasting, helping the rug stay looking fresh with minimal effort. It’s a practical choice that doesn’t compromise on style.
  • Well-balanced weight and structure. With a pile weight of 1500 gr/m2, the rug feels substantial and stable underfoot. It lays neatly on the floor, enhancing both comfort and durability.
  • Eye-catching striped design in bold red. The striped pattern brings energy and movement into your space, making it an instant focal point. It’s perfect for lifting neutral interiors with a confident splash of colour.

Styling Tip: Let this rug take center stage by pairing it with soft neutrals like light beige, cream, or warm greys. It works beautifully with wooden furniture and simple décor, allowing the bold stripes to stand out while still keeping the room balanced and inviting. For added warmth, layer with textured cushions or a soft throw in complementary tones.

NOTE: Wool rugs naturally shed due to the characteristics of real wool fibres. This is completely normal and part of the rug’s natural structure. Shedding will gradually reduce with regular vacuuming.

We suggest you unfold your rug as soon as possible to allow it to begin settling. You may notice lines or creases in your rug when you first lay it out. These are completely normal and not permanent. Depending on the tension of the fold, it can take a few days or a week to completely flatten.

Everyday

Vacuum as normal. New wool rugs naturally shed loose fibres for the first few weeks - this isn't a fault, and it settles down with regular vacuuming.

If something spills

Blot it straight away with a clean, dry cloth. Start at the outside edge of the mark and work inwards, so you gather the spill together instead of pushing it wider.

Do not rub, and avoid bleach or ammonia-based cleaners - these break down wool fibres permanently. If you need something beyond water, use a wool-safe, pH-neutral detergent, tested on a small hidden area first.

Being straight with you: wool has natural stain resistance thanks to its own lanolin coating, but it's resistant, not proof. Blot a spill straight away and it lifts easily. Leave it to sit and it can still mark.

Wool

Wool is a natural fibre, so it's more moisture-sensitive than synthetics - never soak it, and let it dry fully and flat if it does get wet, rather than leaving it damp underneath. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, as this can fade the colour over time, and rotate it occasionally for even wear. We'd recommend a professional wool-safe clean roughly once a year. Not suitable for machine washing.

If anything does go wrong, our team sorts it out. A person, not a form.

Can I return a rug if it is not right?

Yes. You have 30 calendar days from the day your rug is delivered to start a return. Message us with your order number and we will confirm the return address. Return postage outside the UK is the customer's responsibility, and we recommend a tracked service. Please repack the rug in its original packaging, because rugs that reach us damaged cannot be refunded.

Which rug size should I choose?

Measure your furniture first, then the floor. In a living room, 160x230 cm sits well under a 3 seater sofa with the front legs on the rug, and 200x290 cm carries a full seating group in a larger room. Bedrooms usually want 120x170 cm beside the bed or 200x290 cm under a double, while hallways and galley kitchens suit an 80x300 cm runner. For dining rooms, allow about 60 cm of rug past the table on every side so chairs stay on the pile when they are pulled out, and our guide on how to choose the ideal rug for your room works through this room by room.

How do I clean and look after my rug?

Vacuum regularly and blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside of the mark inwards. Avoid soaking the rug, because a backing that stays wet for a long time can change shape. Many of our rugs are stain resistant rather than stain proof, so the sooner you deal with a spill the better the result. Full instructions, including wool and shaggy pile, are in our rug care guide.

What are your rugs made from?

Most of our rugs are woven from heat set polypropylene, which handles daily traffic and holds its colour, and the range also includes wool, viscose and jute pieces. Every product page lists pile material, backing, pile height, pile weight, construction and origin in the specification panel, so you can check the detail before you buy. Rugs tested to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 show that certification in the same panel. Where a rug suits underfloor heating, the product page says so.

Will the rug slide on hard floors?

On wood, tile and laminate a rug can shift, so we recommend a non-slip underlay, which also adds a little cushioning and protects the pile. A dense low pile with a jute backing sits flatter from the start than a deep shaggy pile. Creases from folding are normal and usually settle within a few days to a week once the rug is unrolled. You can add a rug gripper to your order from our rug accessories.
