Hey there, today we are with you again with an informative blog and we’ll keep talking about some of the top design trends of 2022. Love them or hate them but trends are born as a reaction to the world around us. The situation is the same as well for interior design and our lovely homes. 2022 is going to be a year that is all about finding balance. Without further ado, let’s jump and look at what all the biggest design trends are going to be in 2022 and beyond!

Top Interior Design Trends of 2022: Vintage

Unsurprisingly, of course, Vintage Trend is supposed to take its place in this blog. The reason why vintage pieces are getting insanely popular is it’s actually unique. It’s not part of the latest big-box store décor collection. It has a sustainable and versatile side. No matter what your home style or inspiration is, a vintage rug is always going to be a good match with its surroundings. Using this kind of pieces in your interior is a great way to add your personality to your room. I think one of the most interesting aspects about the rise of vintage is that it’s really a sign that we are trying to create spaces that are unique to us.

Top Interior Design Trends of 2022: The New Hygge aka Lagom Home

I know this title doesn’t sound English at all. Firstly, ‘hygge’ was a trend that along years before the pandemic. It’s a Scandinavian-originated trend. Furthermore, there’s also a new Scandi philosophy or way of life that is entering the scene. It’s called “Lagom”.  The best way to translate this word would be “Just Enough”.  When you say Lagom, it means it’s the perfect balance. Not too little, not too much. Just Lagom. The basic concept is that moderation and happiness are intertwined. So, how do we make our homes Lagom? You should buy things that you really love and catches your interest by ensuring your home is not cluttered. As we stated above, at this point balance is really important. If you’re buying a multi-coloured or patterned rug, balancing it with other pieces is an ideal step. Or if you’re going for a plain and minimal one, you should add some colour and movement as well. However, mostly using soothing colours is the main idea in this practice. Nothing too empowering that screams for attention.

Outdoor Living

It used to be in a design project that the outside was always the last area to be considered. People now are spending a serious amount of time and effort on their outdoor space as it should be. Especially, with the start of the pandemic, millions of people have transformed their outdoor spaces no matter how tiny it is. Being surrounded by fresh air and natural elements has a positive effect. So when people are shopping, they have more awareness and are more selective. So you might want to decorate in a way that will look more authentic and quality. At this step, our affordable but high-quality and long-lasting outdoor collections are coming to the scene. Whether you want to create a focal point or reflect your personality on your exterior design, the selections of our outdoor rugs will be extremely helpful and practical for you!
